Patient and Visitor Parking at the Charlton Campus is available at the following locations:

Parking garage on Ramp 3 located at 301 James St. S.
Parking lot drop-off/pick-up located off St. Joseph’s Drive at the Mary Grace Wing and Surgical Centre.
Premium parkade located off Charlton Avenue in front of the building at the Juravinski Innovation Tower.

H Pass Frequently Asked Questions

The H Pass can be purchased for 5, 10, or 30 days. The H Pass is valid for the defined number of days of non-consecutive parking, within one year from the date of purchase.

The H Pass can be used at Charlton Campus (Ramp 3 off James St. S.) and West 5th Campus (P1, P2, P3 or P4)

The H Pass will activate with the next entry to Ramp 3 for parking at Charlton Campus or one of the visitor lots at West 5th Campus (P1, P2, P3, P4).

To gain entry to Ramp 3 at Charlton Campus or P1, P2, P3 or P4 at West 5th Campus using the H Pass, insert the H Pass card into the yellow ticket slot which will initiate the H Pass and provide entry.

Upon exiting a gated lot, again insert the H Pass into the yellow ticket slot for gate arm activation.

Yes, entry/exits can occur unlimited times throughout a 24 hour period, and will only count as one day of use.

Yes, all H Pass cards are transferable between patients and family members.

Per the Ministry of Health Directive (2016), staff are not permitted to purchase a H Pass as this was put into place to reduce the financial burden of hospital parking fees on patients and their visitors who frequently visit the hospital.

If you have forgotten your H Pass upon arrival, you will be required to pay for parking that day.

If an H Pass is lost or stolen, a new card will need to be purchased at the parking office. Unused parking days on an H Pass cannot be reimbursed/refunded.

To purchase either the multi-day H Pass or the 1 month consecutive day pass, please visit the Parking Office located on the 1^st floor of the Juravinski Tower (Charlton Campus) or Level 1, Room B196 (West 5th Campus)

Bicycle Rack Information:

Juravinski Innovation Tower Level 0 (to the right of the doors)
Main entrance – top of the roundabout
Inside the Charlton underground parking lot (area is monitored by surveillance cameras)
Outside the Fontbonne building (located under the building overhang)
Ramp 2 – caged area (please visit Security Services for an access card)

Security Suggestions for Bicycles:

Secure your bike with a solid steel lock rather than a cable lock
Lock your bike to a fixed, immovable object such as a permanent bike rack

Sobi Hamilton (Hamilton Bike Share)

SoBi racks have been placed at the Charlton Campus and are a source hub where bicycles can be picked up or dropped off. More information available here.

Patient and Visitor Parking is available at the following locations:

Short-term, 15 minute, drop-off/pick-up is available adjacent to the Urgent Care (West side)
Drop-off/pick-up is available adjacent to the Dialysis Centre (East side)
Outpatient parking lot is located off King St. E entrance
