WEED Talk: Marijuana, Mental Health and YOUth
About this event
St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton's Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic hosted an education event for youth, families, and the Hamilton community with expert speakers and interactive booths.
Experts talked about the following topics:
- The impacts and risks of marijuana use on youth;
- How the landscape around marijuana is changing for youth;
- Medical marijuana as a therapeutic agent;
- Perspectives from a family member and youth with lived experiences; and
- Harm reduction strategies and supports.
