Mission Legacy Award Winners Impact Local and International Community
Thursday, July 10, 2014 marks the 2014 Mission Legacy Awards at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. This year we recognize six deserving individuals who have demonstrated their devotion and dedication to health care in our community throughout their lives.
The Mission Legacy award recognizes individuals who have contributed in an exceptional manner to the health care ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Health System and its charitable Foundations.
This year, St. Joseph's is honouring six deserving recipients who live the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph: leading with vision, caring with compassion and modeling the way for future generations of health care providers.
“The Mission Legacy Awards recognizes and celebrates those who have left a permanent imprint on our organization,” said Dr. David Higgins, President of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. “Recipients this year include tireless health care professionals, dedicated volunteers and thought leaders who have cared for our community in a spirit of compassion, innovation and commitment.”
The recipients of the 2014 Sisters of St. Joseph Mission Legacy include:
