Be a flu fighter campaign launched by St. Joe's, HHS and Hamilton Public Health

It’s like a bad sitcom. The villain shows up, infects a lot of people and a hero rises to the rescue. After about a week, the villain is defeated and life goes back to normal — until, a year later that is, when the villain returns and the cycle repeats itself.
Tired of that plot? Of course you are. Then you’ll want to know more about a joint campaign between St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH), Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and the Hamilton Public Health Services to fight the flu – that sneaky villain that seems to come back every year at the end of fall.
Be a flu fighter teaches people how to protect themselves and their families. It also reminds people that we have a not-so-secret weapon to prevent all of that flu drama — the flu shot. Get the shot, not the flu.
Visit beaflufighter.ca for information on managing the flu and to learn your healthcare options. The site also busts major flu myths and explains how the flu gets around. Spoiler alert, the opportunity to make a difference is in your hands. (So, wash them!)
