St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton announces the joyous arrival of the first baby born in 2024 at St. Joe’s Hamilton. The precious bundle of joy made a grand entrance at 1:33am, on January 1. 

Born to proud parents Michelle Sandoval and Wojtek Reiser, baby, Mila, weighs in at 7lbs, 9oz. Mila is the first child for Michelle and Wojtek of the Hamilton/Burlington area. Both mother and baby are doing well. The St. Joe’s care teams are overjoyed to have played a role in the safe arrival of yet another New Year’s Baby.   

Mila’s arrival was celebrated with a gift basket filled with newborn care items, clothes and toys courtesy of the Gift Shop at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and a gift card to Babies ‘R’ Us. Mom, dad and baby were also treated to a stay in the private and hotel-like comfort of the Charlton Suites thanks to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation.
