St. Joe’s opens dedicated clinic for cold and flu season
‘Tis the season’ for congestion, fever and sore throats. To help our community manage these ailments, St. Joe’s has opened a Flu, COVID & Cold Clinic at our West 5th Campus, a collaborative effort between St. Joe’s, Hamilton Health Sciences and primary care doctors. The goal of this dedicated clinic is to provide both adults and children with timely care. while reducing the number of patients visiting emergency departments for respiratory illnesses commonly seen throughout the fall and winter.
The Flu, COVID & Cold Clinic opens Tuesday, November 29 by appointment only. Appointments for Tuesday – Saturday are now available to book. We are not able to accommodate walk-ins at the clinic. A doctor’s referral is not necessary. Hamilton’s emergency departments are experiencing increased volumes resulting in long wait times. If you don’t need emergency care and are experiencing flu, COVID or cold symptoms, you can get care faster at the Flu, COVID & Cold Clinic.
