Stronger Together: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines

It is important to get your flu and COVID-19 vaccines to protect yourself and those around you.  

Everyone who works at St. Joe’s can still receive both vaccinations. It’s easy and convenient for staff to get their flu and COVID-19 vaccines at each campus. Please remember to bring your health card and ID badge.   

Charlton Campus 

Retail Pharmacy 

  • Appointments are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 2–4 p.m.
  • Appointments can be booked by phone (905-521-6170 ext. 36170) or through PharmaConnect 

Occupational Health and Safety Office (no appointment required)  

  • Drop-ins offered Wednesdays from 9–11 a.m.    

West 5th Campus 

Health Office (no appointment required) 

  • Available on weekdays from 8 a.m.–4 p.m.  
  • If there is a wait, the occupational health nurse will advise you on an alternate time to return. 
  • Flu vaccines only. COVID vaccines are available at the Charlton and King campus outpatient pharmacies by appointment.

King Campus 

Scripts Pharmacy 

  • Appointment times vary, call (905) 573-4850 for an appointment 
     

You must have your Ontario Health card with you to receive flu or COVID vaccine.   

 

If you have already received your flu/COVID-19 vaccines this year in the community (doctor’s office or pharmacy), it’s important to forward your information. Click here to submit to St. Joe’s Health Office – please include the following information:  

  • Screenshot confirmation
  • Date of vaccination
  • Vaccination type (flu or COVID-19)

Return to Work Guidance for Respiratory (COVID like) Illness 

The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Office has created the following frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help guide you to answers to questions you may have.

We expect healthcare workers (HCW) to follow current guidelines; if you are experiencing symptoms do not come into work, notify your manager, and follow the current return-to-work guidelines.

The COVID Hotline is now the OHS Support Line and operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
