Strategic Plan

Share Your Voice, Shape Our Future

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Home Care and St. Joseph’s Villa Dundas are embarking on the development of new strategic plans to guide our mission into the future, as we continue to meet the evolving needs of our communities and live the legacy of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph.

We are seeking feedback from our healthcare workers, patients, clients, residents, families and the Hamilton community.

Patients, Clients, Residents, Families

Whether you’ve visited the Emergency Department at St. Joe’s Hamilton, have a loved one at St. Joseph’s Villa Dundas or Margaret’s Place Hospice, or rely on St. Joseph’s Home Care for support at home, we are all impacted by local healthcare throughout every stage of our life.

Our new strategic plan will guide our decisions on programs, services and funding through the next five years. The plan will allow us to continue our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care as the needs of our community evolve.

To ensure our plan is reflective of what our community needs the most, we are seeking your input. Lending your voice to the strategic planning process can directly shape the future of local healthcare and create a system that better serves patients, clients, residents, families and the community.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH), St. Joseph’s Home Care (SJHC), and St. Joseph’s Villa Dundas (SJVD) are proud members of St. Joseph’s Health System, one of Canada’s largest Catholic healthcare corporations serving more than two million Canadians.

Staff, Physicians, Learners and Volunteers

As healthcare workers, you have a unique perspective through the work you do every day.

Being part of the planning process allows you to share what inspires you, what you think we could improve, and what we should focus on in the future to make the biggest impact for our healthcare workers, patients and community.

By sharing your input, you will help us define how we advance the delivery of exceptional, compassionate care to meet the changing needs of our community over the next five years. Your feedback will help ensure we create a strategic plan that recognizes the opportunities and challenges of our current environment and prioritizes what our teams need to provide the best possible care for our patients into the future.
