Celebrating Nursing Week 2021
Amid the pressures of the pandemic, St. Joe’s nurses have gone above and beyond to answer the call to deliver compassionate care to patients, support families, and serve our community in crisis. As we celebrate National Nursing Week (May 10-14), we are proud of and grateful for all nurses in the St. Joe’s community.
Our nurses are the #HeartofHamOnt!
Here’s how you can participate
If you are a community member:
Click here to download a blue heart (or create your own), print it out, and post it in your window as a signal of support for Hamilton nurses. Take a picture of the heart in your window, tag St. Joe’s and Hamilton Health Sciences on social media and use the hashtags #HeartofHamOnt or #WeAnswerTheCall
If you are a staff member, physician or learner at St. Joe’s:
On May 12, wear blue, the colour for Nursing Week in honour of Florence Nightingale and nurses at St. Joe’s. Take a selfie, tag St. Joe’s on social media, and use the hashtags #HeartofHamOnt or #WeAnswerTheCall. You can also send to publicaffairs@stjoes.ca so we can share your photo on social media.
