20 years of leadership
We would like to extend our sincerest thank-you to Susan Hollis, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who is retiring after 20 years of dedicated and distinguished service.
Susan’s leadership in a complex environment has been a significant asset to St. Joe’s, as has been her deep commitment to the mission of St. Joe’s and her ability to live our values in everything she does. In 2014, Susan was given a Sisters of St. Joseph of Hamilton Mission Legacy Award as recognition for living those principles.
She is admired for her high level of skill and expertise as a CFO in providing outstanding advice with a strategic focus. Her deep knowledge, high standards and strategic approach to ensuring the funding and fiscal management of the Hospital and System has positioned us well in meeting our obligations and commitment to our staff and, most importantly, to safe quality care for our patients.
Susan’s energy and enthusiasm have been unstoppable. Her many accomplishments also include:

- Financial leadership of Dovetale, St. Joe’s digital health information solution
- Financial stewardship for several redevelopment projects including the Juravinski Tower at Charlton Campus and the new West 5th Campus
- Recognized leadership at the local and provincial levels for effective stewardship, which has supported our organization in fiscally challenging times
