Notice to Our Patients: Closure of level 2 Roof Deck Parking Lot, Charlton Campus
As of September 6th, the roof deck parking lot at the Charlton Campus, adjacent to the Cafeteria and Surgical Centre, will be undergoing a significant renewal project that will close this area until winter 2017.
This will be a complex and phased construction project that will take a minimum of six months to complete. Below are top four things to be aware of while receiving care, visiting or working at St. Joseph’s Healthcare,
- Discontinued access
Access to the roof deck will not be availableduring construction. - Communication to our patients
Patient Pick up/Drop off - Patients for the Women’s and Infants’ Program and the Surgical Centre have been made aware of this and redirected to use the main entrance (# 3) as a drop off/pick up location.
Patient Parking – Parking Ramp # 3 or the Charlton Avenue Premium parking lot (P3) that are available to our patient population.
What’s taking place?
This construction project will include an exterior surface excavation and replacement in order to make it water tight and subsequent interior repairs to associated infrastructure and surfaces below the roof deck that have been subject to water damage from the deteriorated roof deck parking lot above.
