Specialty Clinics is an outpatient clinic that provides a host of specialized medical services to patients living in the greater Hamilton and surrounding area. Specialty clinics at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton King Campus include:

How this program helps...

Individuals with complex and/or ongoing health concerns need help from time to time to maintain or improve their health and quality of life. SJHH King Campus Specialty Clinics conduct assessment, diagnosis, treatment and on-going care in the areas of Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Othopaedics, Rheumatology, Pain, Plastics, and Cardiology. Each clinic provides a variety of rehabilitation and wellness services as a continuum of care as well as training and information for patients and families to provide care in the home.

Your Care Team

The Specialty Clinics care team consists of various healthcare providers including Specialist Physicians, Registered Nurses and administrative support staff.  Our goal is to provide patients with quality care and a variety of strategies to help treat and manage symptoms of their condition.

Referral Process

Referrals to Specialty Clinics are made by physician referral only. Please contact your physician if you believe you could benefit from a Specialty Clinic at SJHH – King Campus.

Patients will be contacted when an appointment time has been determined.

Preparing for Your Visit

Please arrive 15-30 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time.  Proof of a valid health card is required at each visit.

We ask that you do not bring any valuables with you as the hospital cannot be responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

Registration Procedures

Please present to registration desk upon arrival.  Patients will be called in order of appointment.  Wait times can vary depending on activity of the clinic that day.  Patients are required to pay for parking.
