Who We Are
The Medical Staff Association (MSA) Executive's mandate is to represent the best interests of the Medical Staff Association Membership.
The MSA also recognizes the importance of modeling and sustaining a positive environment for physicians to enhance their professional quality of life and in turn the quality of care provided to our patients.
What We Do
Provide a forum for determination of common goals and the prioritization therein
Facilitate communication and collaboration across the medical staff
Engage with hospital Administration and provide effective representation of the MSA

Physician Support Program
It is sometimes difficult for physicians to seek out supports in time of need. The Physician Support Program is made up of family physicians and psychiatrists at St-Joe’s who have made themselves available to the medical staff for confidential support or treatment. Please contact any member of the MSA executive or your departmental chief for the list of resources and more information.
