Now that the RFP period has closed and all three bids have been submitted (in tons of boxes and containers - what a lot of information to work on and then review), what happens?
It's going to seem very quiet over the summer on the main project front. But looks are deceiving because behind the scenes, teams from SJHH, IO and MOHLTC will be working hard evaluating each of the bids. It's a really complicated process - one I can't even come close to understanding, I'll be honest. But the folks doing the evaluations are amazing and know their stuff - we'll come out of this with a great hospital.
Over the summer, enabling works will get underway. We'll have a summer newsletter, likely in mid-August, and I am always here to answer questions at
