St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton
At SJHH, we have a long and distinguished history of serving our community. For over 121 years, our people have cared for others in a spirit of compassion, innovation and commitment. Over the years, the organization has grown into a multi-site, regional tertiary and academic health sciences centre.
As a premier academic and research healthcare organization, SJHH commits to making a difference in people’s lives and the future of the communities we serve through integrated health services and internationally recognized programs provided at our three campuses.
St. Joseph's West 5th Campus provides specialized mental health services for residents of the Central South region of Ontario, operating mental health beds and providing leading edge community services to thousands of outpatients.
St. Joseph's King Campus is a state-of-the-art facility that has pioneered models of ambulatory care and includes a surgery centre for cataract surgeries, as well as a 39-bed satellite dialysis centre.
St. Joseph's Charlton Campus is a tertiary care teaching centre that includes the regional centre for kidney transplants, oncologic surgery and a large acute care hospital.
Among St. Joseph's Healthcare teaching contributions are the internationally renowned Centre for Minimal Access Surgery and the Centre for Evaluation of Medicines.
