Did You Know?
All revenue generated through St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton parking fees is reinvested into the maintenance of our parking lots and ramps. Beyond maintenance and infrastructure improvements, any profit generated through parking fees goes directly to supporting the quality patient care delivered at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
Compassionate Rates
We recognize that accessing multiple appointments or visiting a hospitalized loved one can be difficult, and that parking costs add an extra layer of pressure to patients and families. For those with very difficult circumstances, and to help offset pressure, Compassionate Rates can be discussed with the Social Worker on your/your loved one’s health care team.
Due to the short supply of parking spaces, patients are not permitted to leave their cars in hospital parking lots during their hospital stay. Immediate family members of patients who must be in the hospital for longer than two weeks, and find that parking costs add an extra layer of pressure, can speak with their loved ones' care provider as they may qualify for a discounted parking pass.
If you would like to provide feedback on our policies or parking rates, please email: parkingfeedback@stjoes.ca.
