This November 9-15th is a time to celebrate and honour perioperative nurses and their important role in patient care. Throughout the years at St. Joe’s, perioperative nurses have witnessed a vast amount of technological changes in the operating room. Today, perioperative nurses play an integral role in our surgical program – even if the surgery is primarily done by a sophisticated robot.
