Join Us for Research Award Day - Monday October 6th
On Monday October 6th, we are hosting our first annual Research Award Day to acknowledge and celebrate the 2014 Father Sean O'Sullivan Research Award recipients.
The Father Sean O’Sullivan Research Awards support young researchers that conduct studies at St. Joe’s, giving them a helping hand in making their breakthrough into the world of research.
“The award program allows us to do more experiments and better research,” explains Rachel Carlisle, one of the 2014 recipients of the award. “It also makes it easier for us to go to conferences and share our work with others.”
Research Award Day seeks to engage those unfamiliar with research at St. Joe’s through presentations and interactive display booths. Presentations from executive leadership as well as the award recipients themselves will tell stories of how research at St. Joe’s improves the quality of life for our patients, and those diagnosed with a variety of illnesses around the world. Interactive display booths will represent the four research programs at St. Joe’s through a variety of engaging activities.
