Dual Diagnosis Program

OSM - Jodi Younger

General Information

This program is a partner in a regional system of community-based and inpatient services organized into a coordinated network to meet the needs of developmentally handicapped adults with mental health problems. The West 5th Campus ensures that patients have access to a seamless range of mental health services that are responsive to individual needs. The partnership includes the West 5th Campus, the Ministry of Community and Social Services and community service providers in the West 5th Campus catchment area.

The program provide assessment, treatment, nursing, psychiatry, rehabilitation, education and research to clients, their families/care-givers, and their family physicians. To prevent duplication, services are provided in collaboration with existing supports that best meet the needs of clients.

These partners also work closely with other community service providers to ensure that a continuum of service is provided for this special population.
