Lung DAP team participates in The Big Move Cancer Ride to raise money for the Walker Family Cancer Centre in St. Catharines. The team cycled 50km or 100km through the Niagara Escarpment, raising about $8000 for the charity! Participants included Dr. Mark Jany (NHS Lead DAP physician); Steve French (Performance Improvement Consultant at SJHH); Colleen Stang (Nurse Navigator and Team Captain); Dr. Tom Nolan (NHS DAP); Dr. Shannon Smith (Dr. Tom Nolan’s wife and ER DR at WLMH); Laurie Stang (back row-husband of Colleen); Mary Pierce (FIRH RN); Dave Pierce (husband of Mary); Dr. Yaron Shargall (Head of Thoracic Surgery Service, Thoracic Surgeon SJHH); Assif Shargall (Son of Dr. Yaron Shargall) .
