Public Attendance Process
The Hamilton Board Committee (HBC) conducts its meetings in open, closed and in‐camera sessions. The public and staff are welcome to observe the open session of a HBC meeting to:- Facilitate the conduct of the HBC’s business in an open and transparent manner;
- Ensure the HBC and member organizations maintain a close relationship with the public, namely: the community, media, stakeholder groups;
- Generate trust, openness and accountability;
- Open HBC meetings also provide a forum for members of the public to address the HBC concerning matters relevant to the organization.
