Clinical Health Services Pandemic Influenza Plan
In January 2006, St. Joseph’s Healthcare and Hamilton Health Sciences in conjunction with the City of Hamilton Department of Public Health and Social Services initiated a joint planning project to develop a detailed Pandemic Influenza Plan. Over the past 2 years the partnership has continued and significant planning has taken place. Further to this SJHH has continued with the development of the pandemic influenza plan to ensure a cohesive, collaborative and comprehensive plan that will also partner with Long Term Care and community physicians.
St. Joseph's HealthCare Hamilton has always been committed to patient, staff, volunteer and visitor safety. Commitment to safety has clearly been proven over the past few years as many St. Joseph’s employees and physicians have worked hard to create a pandemic response plan that would meet the needs of all individuals who enter St. Joseph's HealthCare.
We are pleased to announce the release of the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Clinical Health Services Pandemic Influenza Plan.
Please note the Clinical Health Services Pandemic Influenza Plan is a living and working document. The plan will continue to be revised as more epidemiological information is available, along with further direction from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) and the Ministry of Labor (MOL).
