Library Services
The Sherman Library is St. Joseph's Healthcare Resource Centre, providing current and retrospective literature for patient care, research and continuing education. The Library has over 2,500 books in the areas of Allied Health, Medicine and Nursing. We subscribe to approximately 100 medical and nursing journals and house a small collection of audio-visual materials related to human relations, nursing and patient education. The library office also has a collection of hospital and medical directories, almanacs, community directories and dictionaries.
The Library can be used by staff and patients from St. Joseph's Healthcare as well as learners during their placements or rotations. Staff will provide an orientation tour of the Library to individuals or groups upon request.
